No need to spend money buying those fat study guides for the ACTs, SATs or other standardized test acronym when gearing up to get into colleges this year. Your local public library now offers electronic resources to help you prepare for FREE. The Testing and Education Reference Center (TERC) is a database available as a free service to library patrons. TERC, a service provided by Gale Cengage Learning, is a database that includes more than 300 practice tests and courses and dozens of ebooks. They?re new, too?the ?Master the SAT? guide under SAT prep I was able to access was the 2013 version.
To access TERC, visit www.librarieshawaii.org, click on ?Books, Articles & Media,? then the ?Online Databases? button, scroll down and then select ?Testing and Education Reference Center? (or you can just click here). Have your Hawaii State Public Library System (HSPLS) card number ready.
